About Us
Gary Reback President & Founder
As President & Founder of Next Level Career Consultants, my approach to career counseling combines a deep understanding of the financial services industry with a unique perspective on personal growth. My career started as a computer programmer at First Boston and included stints at Lehman Brothers, Greenwich Capital, Bear Stearns, UBS, and Millenium. These roles included the CIO title at Greenwich Capital and roles as head of CMO originations at three bulge bracket investment banks as well as running a global macro trading pod at Millennium. Following my Wall Street career, I earned a Master of Social Work degree from Fordham University, where I learned that finding career happiness is about much more than a paycheck. My mission is to help young finance professionals and those who want to work in finance reach the next level in their careers. I am deeply and personally committed to my client's success. We are partners in your journey, and we will succeed together.

My career began at AlphaSights, an expert networking firm, where I learned how to leverage platforms like LinkedIn throughout the networking process. I am passionate about sharing this expertise to help our clients build their networks and secure their dream jobs.
After AlphaSights, I spent two years at Kearney Consulting and bring management consulting experience to the Next Level team. I graduated from Cornell University in 2019 with a major in Economics, and I am currently pursuing an MBA at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.

Our Services
Skills Package
The package is intended to be a five-session, self-paced, structured program that will cover three modules:
1. We will work together to develop your resume, LinkedIn profile, and networking skills, all prerequisites to a successful job hunt.
2. We will teach you the interview dos and don’ts, conduct mock interviews, and role-play. By the end of this module, you will know how to control an interview rather than the interview controlling you. This is how you make a lasting impression.
3. Highly targeted preparation for your first live interview. After the interview, we will have a same-day debrief to prepare you to do even better in future interviews if needed.
In our initial conversation, we will discuss your goals and determine together if five sessions is the right number for you.
